The accommodation was lovely and clean and provided everything we needed. The bed was comfy but the pillows were hard. If staying bring your own pillows. The breakfast was basic but the landlady was lovely. We had a wedding reception to attend and booked the Crown Inn to stay. A warm welcome awaited us on arrival, our room was fantastic well equipped and a cosy relaxing place to unwind. We had dinner, was a well balanced menu of traditional pub food. Definitely worth the wait. The shower was really good. Breakfast next morning was enough a well cooked full English, cereal toast OJ and tea or coffee. We enjoyed our evening meals and breakfasts. Winter duvets with 100% polyester covers were a bit warm now that summer has properly arrived. During our four night stay there was no housekeeping, which was not a problem wrt bathroom, beds etc. But, teabags and milk were not topped up or clean mugs/glasses. Great food and very friendly We stayed at the Crown overnight ahead of visiting family. Charlotte was a fantastic host, really friendly & welcoming. We booked a meal in the bar for the evening too, which was lovely. Food was great and staff were really friendly. We stayed in the Lennne double room which was very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable nights stay, with a lovely walk-in shower.The building is very old and quirky, with low beams and ceilings, and little steps that you have to watch out for, therefore it may not be suitable for disabled visitors. But luckily for us that isnt an issue so the features add to buildings charm. A full English breafast was included the next morning, cooked my Charlotte. The service again was warm and friendly. Food was excellent, locally sourced meats with unlimed coffee. Absolutely perfect. We were made to feel very welcome, and would definitely return for another stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is included when you book to stay here. There’s a good choice of food on the menu and reasonably priced. The bus stop is right outside which is great for getting to near by Kings Lynn. Beautiful room and bathroom within a lovely and traditional setting. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Please be aware of the low ceilings if you’re taller than 5ft 5in. Every amenity provided. Would definitely stay again. Just had to remember to duck through door frames. Good sized bathroom and shower plus walk-in wardrobe provided plenty of storage. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Didn’t sample rest of pub food as only stayed one night but the list of desserts was impressive. Not fit for human occupancy. This "hotel" needs to be removed immediately from Hotels.com - on health and safety issues alone. We refused to stay in it having seen it - v cramped, dingy, dark, broken toilet seat, no fire escape - only exit one narrow wooden stair case leading to doorway cluttered with high chair and other stored items. Totally unacceptable for human habitation. Needs immediate professional hospitality inspection to remove from all accomodation websites. A total nightmare.
