"The property possesses many good and bad qualities, lovely friendly staff and warm welcome. Lots of amenities on site and close by, has a Casino with guests getting a £5 free bet with their booking. The hotel in general is very outdated and definitely could do with some sort of modernisation to give it a wow factor! For a cheap and affordable hotel for the night though not a bad stay and beds were rather comfortable. The room I stayed in had damp patches on the ceiling and lots of wear and tear throughout. Happy to stay again but would be lovely to see the place have a facelift in the coming years as really is a lovely area and has a lot of potential for further development "

"It’s a fantastic old hotel. Had a Becks dark and a sandwich one night while watching a ship sail by. Too dark and to far out to tell any more but a nice evening."
