"I had an amazing stay at Hilton Hawaiian Village and it ended up being such a big part of my Hawaii experience. The location is fantastic — right on Waikiki Beach, with beautiful views, plenty of places to eat and drink, shops, pools and the lagoon all within the resort. I loved being able to paddle board in the lagoon, relax around the resort and then head out so easily to explore the rest of Oʻahu. The whole resort has a really lively holiday atmosphere and there is always something going on, but it still felt like somewhere I could properly relax after busy days of hiking, snorkelling and sightseeing. Seeing rainbows over the resort and being so close to the beach made it feel especially special. My room was comfortable and the resort itself was clean and well looked after. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It is a very large resort, so expect a lot of people around, particularly at busy times, and some of the food and drink prices are what you would expect from a major Waikiki resort. The resort fees also add a noticeable amount to the overall cost, so that is definitely worth factoring into your budget. Overall though, I absolutely loved my stay. For me, the location, beachfront setting, lagoon and atmosphere made it worth it, and Hilton Hawaiian Village now feels like part of some brilliant memories from my first trip to Hawaii. I would happily stay here again on a future visit to Oʻahu."
