"The stay was good overall. The property is very beautiful and well maintained. The villas are huge and well appointed. Very nice place to stay. We enjoyed it very much. However there were some major problems which will prevent us from coming back here. We had several issues, some of which were addressed and some were not. You are in the jungle, so there are ants. "The hotel rooms were advertised has having an ocean view but you could not see the ocean from our room. The room was clean, although small. The host was courteous and helpful He arranged for us to eat a lovely dinner at a local restaurant and arranged for the owner to pick us up so we did not have to drive. We think he forgot to turn on the hot water so, although there was a great shower, the water was not hot. The worst part of the stay however, was that reggae music played at a location close...

"Ft Young is always my go to when visiting the island. That being said if you are in the older part of the hotel, getting your luggage around is a challenge as the elevator does not get you to all areas, HOWEVER there is always friendly staff to lend a hand. I was disappointed not to get a room in the new, deluxe part of the hotel. Not sure how I go about getting one. Overall I am pleased with my stay. I would say that service has improved over the years. Helpful, friendly staff"
