Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Was greeted on arrival by the person caring for the house. He showed me where everything was located and all the instructions i needed to know. The house was clean and everything needed as far as appliances, gadgets, supplies was provided. The A/C works great. There’s no cable on the tv so if you need tv bring a Roku/firestick etc. Theres a very secure privacy gate which made me feel more comfortable and secure. The house is up a very steep hill so transportation is a plus but walking is doable also. To get to the main road and to the beach, It took me about 5-10min easy walk down and about 15-20min walk up. The walk up will test how in shape you are Would stay here again if needed. We loved the patio and the view. Gorgeous. The food on the first night was almost inedible: we sent back the mahi mahi (I think that's what it was) because it was so rock hard/overcooked that it wouldn't chew down. We then ordered the pizza: the dough was so soft and uncooked that we just ate the toppings. We then started simply eating away from the place. On our final night, though, they were doing a barbecue and it was absolutely fantastic. We wonder if we just had a bad dining night. The other thing that happened was that my 82-year-old mother and myself were walking down from our cabin and one of the hotel staff, driving a golf cart, actually honked at us to get out of his way as he sped past us. My poor mother jumped into the drainage ditch, and nearly lost her balance. When we brought it up to management, they knew exactly who it was, which kind of bothered me because they knew he was a risk already. They offered us nothing, no drink, no note from the manager, nothing. In the end, we did love our stay.
