"I have never paid so much for drinks, food and everything is an extra cost. I would never recommend Baha Mar to anyone. I travel a lot and stay at lots of very nice hotels and resorts but I can not recommend this place. Very disappointed considering the amount of money we spent. "

"Slightly tired property in need of some updating and investment; main pool area too cramped and very very noisy; very small beach though shuttle provided to nearby Cabbage beach which is a bit under developed and prone to rough seas; reception area is very noisy as it is next to a the bar, lifts and games area - ideally needs to be partitioned off somehow; restaurants: italian - disappointing. ; Asian - nice food but soul less; grill - good food and atmosphere by the water; verandah restaurant - open pretty much all day - good food (self service) but cafe feel; chickcharnies - poolside fast food - pizzas and chicken etc - ok but not every day; room ok - view over building site leaves a lot to be desired; a/c works but very noisy - windows don’t open so all or nothing; no kettle so making tea a bit challenging for a Brit!; no milk anyway; close to Atlantis if you want a casino but otherwise it’s a taxi but not sure where to. Staff very helpful and friendly; pools cleaned regularly and environment well maintained - verges, trees, shrubs etc; main pool nice temperature but lap pool way too hot. Inclusive wine a bit ropey but spirits free flowing."

"The staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel was a little on the old side. Coffee bar in room was not replenished on a daily basis. The restaurants had very limited menus. It was difficult to get same-day reservations at the restaurants. Overall, to me, this is a three star hotel."
