Cat island is not Nassau, Cancun or Miami. We have been there 4 times now. If you are looking for glitz, glam or fancy meals or even things like smooth roads and electricity that is for sure 24/7 then you may want to go someplace else. If you want land crab and hermit crab adventures, fishing, history, sunrises and sunsets and endless beaches to explore then jump in and go ASAP!
