Excellent stay, friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable.

The conceirge saw us before we saw the entrance and helped us with free parking and made us feel very welcome. He also gave us a map with a brief over view of what to do on the island. The room was clean and bed very comfy and super sized. The hotel itself is beautiful. Breakfast for us was included and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was fresh with lots of offer. The beach and town center were so close we popped in and out all the time. I would highly recommend.

Tucked away in a quiet spot overlooking the ocean, this is a great place to unwind and a good base for seeing the sights of the western side of Sao Miguel. Great food options and the outdoor area with infinity pool set among the trees is really beautiful.

What a fantastic hotel. Situated in the heart of the city making it easy to navigate. Pedro and his staff cannot be more helpful, always with a smile and genuinely interested in making sure you get the most from your stay. We had such an amazing time! A BIG thank you to all the staff — so friendly, so polite. The location is perfect, and the restaurant and breakfast were rich and tasty. An unforgettable holiday! We highly recommend this vacation to anyone wanting a high-quality holiday. Pools were clean , souna , steamroom. You cant expect more , our kids were so so happy.

The hotel is amongst the best we've stayed in. The room is comfortable with great views over the gardens. The food is good, but what makes the hotel outstanding is the service from the staff. They are very friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble and you are always greeted with a smile. The hotel has a unique thermal pool with a constant 35-40oC temperature. The hotel provide robes and towels to use at the pool, which is just as well as the iron rich water stains everything...

Lovely hotel with both character and excellent amenities. Great location looking over the sea and a stone’s throw from the restaurants and shops. Parking was 10 euros for the night, but that gave us a place in a secure car park just round the corner from the hotel entrance.

An excellent new Hotel in the Island and I am sure it will become a reference. Incredible architecture which uses local materials. Fantastic views from some of the rooms towards the Mountain of Pico. Staff is so nice. A special thanks to Daniela and Bianca. They accommodated vegan options for my wife. A newly opened Hotel which I am sure will only get better with time!

Situated a 10 minute walk from Madalena, this hotel is peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, and we were allowed to check out at the later time of 1.30pm without incurring extra costs (€50 thereafter). We couldn’t book a public taxi through the hotel for the airport run, so used their transfer service (€22 for a 20 minute journey). Good breakfasts and restaurant looked nice, but we chose to eat in local restaurants.

We were greeted by a friendly lady behind the desk who showed us up to our room. The room was a generous size and modernly decorated with a king size bed with big soft cushions. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat. The bathroom was excellent - I loved the shower and the shower gels and lotions provided (GreenPark) ! Hi everyone. This hotel is located in the north of the island and easily accessible from the capital, Ponta Delgada in 20 min by car mostly in a motorway. Its right on the coast with a beach a few meters away. There's nothing bad to mention about this hotel. Its clean, friendly and full of the right amenities for a place with this classification. I spent a short off-season break at the Marina Atlantico Hotel. The hotel is modern, clean and furbished to a high standard. It provided a perfect base to explore Sao Miguel.

We really enjoyed our 10 night stay at Pedras do Mar resort. Great facilities and some really nice staff. Beautiful location and only 15 mins by car to Ponta Delgada. If you want to be able to walk around a town and choose from bars/restaurants every evening this is not the resort for you, although having said that, a taxi is only 15 euros in to Ponta Delgada where there is plenty to choose from.
