  • Welcome to our beautifully renovated private basement retreat in Denver, conveniently located near the University of Denver. The home is in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to major roads and highways, making it a great base for exploring Denver and the surrounding area. Restaurants, shopping, and everyday conveniences are also nearby. The guest space is located on the lower level of our home (basement) and is completely separate from the main living area, with its own private entrance. We live upstairs, but guests have full privacy during their stay. Inside, you’ll find a warm, modern space designed with comfort in mind. The rental includes one bedroom, one private bathroom, a closet, a spacious living area with comfortable seating and a large TV, and a dining area with seating for four. A dedicated coffee station and refrigerator are also provided for drinks and light refreshments. The space has been fully renovated and thoughtfully furnished to feel comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Natural wood accents, modern finishes, and cozy décor create a relaxed atmosphere that works well for short visits or longer stays. This rental is a great fit for couples, small families, business travelers, parents visiting students at DU, or anyone looking for a private and comfortable place to stay in Denver. Guests also have access to an outdoor sitting area, perfect for enjoying some fresh air during your stay. Please note that this is a private basement-level rental within an occupied home. There is no full kitchen. The space includes a coffee station and refrigerator. We ask guests to respect the property and neighborhood. No pets, smoking, vaping, parties, events, or unregistered guests are permitted. For safety and security, exterior cameras are always on. One overlooks the garage/driveway area, and a video doorbell is located at the main home entrance. There are no cameras inside the guest space. The host was super helpful when it came to finding the location. We truly loved walking into the space, which is larger than the pictures give credit, after a long day of doing things around denver. I would highly recomend this property for anyone who is just trying to spend some time in quiet comfort in denver.

Perfect spot

perfect spot for my daughter and I. Close to observatory Park and in the neighborhood where my son lives so convenient. The apartment was clean and accommodating, very comfortable. Would stay here again. The host was very friendly and helpful when we had questions.

Perfect place

This place was amazing. Nice and peaceful. The place was very clean and was close to everything. The owner was very responsive and pleasant. There is a park nearby if you have children. It's in walking distance.

Beautiful, Clean Property in Great Neighborhood

This property is beautifully decorated, very clean, bright, and cozy in a really nice neighborhood close to lots of conveniences. The host provided everything I needed for my 3-night stay, and obviously cares about providing a great experience for guests. Highly recommend! Will stay there again next time I'm in Denver.

Another Great Stay

This was my second stay at this property and it was just as good as the first. It’s immaculate. Owner is friendly and her communications are thorough. Location is in a quiet neighborhood but close to shopping, restaurants, and I-25. I will stay here again when I visit Denver.

Beautiful property, wonderful host, clean, comfortable bed and fully stocked with everything we could have needed! They couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. Perfect location near university of Denver in a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of street parking. These hosts go above and beyond for their guests. They also have great communication and fast response time when I had questions. I hope it’s available the next time we come to Denver.

Great VRBO, Wonderful Host

Host, Edina, was wonderful. She was easy to contact and always replied quickly. The accommodations were clean, tastefully decorated, and easily accessible. There was street construction, but Edina kept us informed each step of the way so there were little to no inconveniences. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Denver.

My third stay here. Location is great for shopping, restaurants, and just getting around south Denver. Edina keeps the place immaculate and it was all of the kitchen items I need. The unit is very quiet. I will continue to stay here!

Great Denver Location

I recently stayed here and had an exceptional experience while traveling solo. The unit was amazingly clean and comfortable. The quiet and secure location provided a peaceful retreat. The location was perfect for my needs and the owners were friendly and welcoming. The unit and its kitchen were very well equipped, with all the amenities I needed, making it feel like a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Great Property, Excellent Location

The accommodations were just as pictured. The space was plenty large and was clean. The exctra touches left by the owner, a jar of coffee and filters, some travel sized shampoo and conditioner, etc. Was nice. The refrigerator is dorm size, and was plenty big for us, but so you are aware, there is no freezer. Location was so convenient to everything! We would highly recommend this place!

My husband and I stayed for a get away. Great quiet neighborhood. The communication with the owner was very easy. The bed was very comfortable and the accommodations were portrayed accurately on the description. You can’t walk to restaurants which is the only downside. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location if you are going to Red Rocks. Easy to get to many locations near Denver. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Easy check-in and good communication with the owner. Bed was very comfortable. Some things to note: You need to go down stairs to enter the home. It is a basement apartment. They have windows and there was light. There was no temperature control. Overall, this was not a problem, but it did get a little warm at night. Most of the time, the temp. was comfortable. Overall, this is a clean and comfortable space. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Denver location in quiet neighborhood

Stayed at this property with my out-of-town sister and my 2 and 4 year old kiddos. Space is clean, open and well-maintained. The ceilings are high and there's lots of windows letting in natural light, so you didn't get that claustrophobic basement feel. We appreciated the large area of the kitchen to back living room area, next to bedroom, so kiddos had space to get their wiggles out. Do note there's stairs (it's a basement space, with a separate entrance), which was fine for us even with little toddlers. It's also across the street to a nice park with swings and bike/walking trail which we visited daily. South Colorado and S. University are minutes away with great eateries, grocery stores, and bars. You're about 10-15 minutes from downtown, depending where you go. So it's nice to be able to visit downtown but not have to sleep in downtown noise. I would definitely stay here again and/or have out-of-town guests stay here. The host was quick to respond.
