"Great hotel near old Dubai town - just across the channel. There is a cheap ferry for 2 AED. Not sure if this is the standard but we got an apartment with our booking. It was big with a lot of space. 2 toilets and a lot of storage. The airport is just few km away so it is convienient when you need to fly early. Great restaurant on 18th floor with beautiful views over Dubai skyline. Happy our drinks available for good price. There is a small pool on 13 floor but we didnt use it. Looked nice. The area is a mix of old and newer Dubai but still good and much cheaper than downtown or marina."
