"Lovely accommodation, clean, modern, pretty and spacious garden, safe off road parking. 3 very comfy bedrooms, nice living room with dining table. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine. The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. 🌿 Peaceful & Cosy Cottage Stay in the Forest of Dean 🌳🐑

8/10 Good

"Nice warm cosy cottage and genial host. Would definitely recommend."

Deer Park Farmhouse - on the lydney park estate that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

10/10 Excellent

"We have stayed twice and booked again for next year too. Very relaxing place to stay, with beautiful woodland surrounding it and places to walk close by. Comfortable and well equipped; everything we need for a great weekend get away."

Bertha - sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom

8/10 Good

"Thank you for a lovely short getaway. Only one small thing is that we didn’t know where to leave the rubbish as the instructions were not clear! But everything else was perfect."

Lodge Barn, Forest of Dean - sleeps 18 guests in 9 bedrooms

10/10 Excellent

"Set in some beautiful countryside surroundings, Lodge Barn was perfect for our family celebrations. Plenty of space indoors and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Outside there is a very comfortable seating area with great views over the surrounding countryside. Perfect for sunset drinks. Lots to do in the surrounding area including the Wye Valley, Raglan Castle and Puzzlewood. Many of the bedrooms are en-suite - which is a bonus, and there are plenty of games to keep everyone occupied."

Quarry Lodge, Lydney - sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

10/10 Excellent

"We had a lovely time at Quarry Lodge. The house is very spacious and comfortable and lies beautifully in a valley of the Lydney Park estate. We booked the hot tub too which proved to be a very relaxing experience in September, looking out over the fields and forrest. There are several pubs and restaurants nearby that serve good food but be aware that they don’t serve food on Sunday afternoon."

Betty Shepherd's Hut - sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom

8/10 Good

"Very relaxing with all the amenities you would need. Such a quiet surrounding, no traffic noise. Wonderful views over the valley shared with hundreds of pheasants coming out the woods every morning. Woke up to deer, squirrels, birds of prey etc. very comfortable bed, I loved just sitting on the decking listening to the wildlife. Only negatives was it stated a wheelbarrow in car park area to take baggage to hut but it was not there. Also the lovely large shower head did not work, only the handset worked but was fine. I made a couple repairs myself to a tap handle as it was very loose and the cafetière handle was about to fall off so tightened that too. The lounge chairs are ok but not very comfy, personally I would have a small 2 seater sofa instead. Apart from that a really nicely set up shepards hut."

DeanGate Motel

10/10 Excellent

"Large, clean, and well equipped room. Very helpful and friendly staff, would highly recommend."

3 bedroom accommodation in near Lydney

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely fabulous stay! All of us loved it…beautifully appointed apartment, but for us the garden made it…surprised that the pups even came home with us, they mentioned squatting and never leaving! 😂"

The Hickory - a joint property with 2 hot tubs, Forest of Dean

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in both properties for a family celebration. The houses were large, extremely clean and had everything we needed. With lovely walks on the doorstep, a couple of decent pubs within walking distance and other walks just a short drive away. This was an excellent base to discover the Forest of Dean."
