The property was good. The infinity pool was very nice, as was the beach. The location next to the barge was excellent. It would have been nice to have working wifi and more of a selection in the restaurant. Overall it is a good place to stay.

No wifi and internet at all even at the reception. No action taken to rectify it. Easy if you have to go to Ocean view marina as they have a shuttle.

I like that it had a king size bed the room was very large room service was very reasonable and attentive but they made us argue for the complementary breakfast and they charged us extra for hot chocolate substitute for coffee

Nice resort friendly atmosphere
Great relaxing time mixing with family. The food was good and well priced. The pool reserved for guests was terrific. It was close to ferry and accessible

Overnight stay is okay.
Hotel was just near at the port and walkable to a convenience store! Good enough beds to rest but linen needs an upgrade. Room ambience may be improved. In-house restaurant is okay and will provide room service. First-aider on duty is quick and friendly. Hotel accepts early check-in with a fee. Overall, our overnight stay is okay.

well. all was good. but there are certain things need to be recheck in your rooms, such as the tv, the shower, and some list of food for improvemnt, but the stay was good. it would be good to ban those people who will be drinking alcohol near and outside the hotel rooms, it is kind of distraction to us and the other people. thats all thank you

anything they promise is far from the truth wifi only works 10% of the time and then SOSOSO slow just give up staff say they will look into it but you know they havent a clue cant book another room out of here NO INTERNET !!! SHAME ON YOU EXPEDIA

no wifi in rooms. wifi in lobby but had to ask reception at least 4 times before it worked and when it did ,a lot of pages wont load F***K , beach dirty , nice or a family day but not for overnight expedia should take responsibility for false advertising WHAT IS EXPEDIA DOING Take the money and run NO RESPONSIBILITY or care

Second time there. Great time.
It is good to have the 24hr convience store, right there. The food is pretty good. We even tried their pizza. The price is right, and your best bet is to book in advance for the best price, at hotels.com

Beach side is filthy. No other recreational activities to do. There are restrictions in amenities even though we are checked in guests. Cable and wifi connections are poor. Slow food service.

Love the cottages
Nice cottages, you can set up a tent just outside and there are trees which keeps the environment cool. The staff at the front desk is terrible, they don't know how to smile and don't make you feel like you're welcome. They make you wait unless you gona follow up, acting like they don't care. They don't know what they're doing. Hmmp! There are open cottages near the beach, and infinity pool for checked in guest and kiddie big pool for non check in. Staff inside the Resort are nice & accommodating.

Amazing Samal
we stayed there for 3d/2N just to have a relaxing type of resort/hotel after every trip in different tourist spot like bat cave, Japanese cave, hagimit falls, kaputian beach and overlooking view from top of Samal. The island was so Amazing. I trully recommend this hotel since it's located beside the port. Easy access to evrything,which is perfect. There is also a convenience store beside it. Food is good and priced right. Resort Facilities are good enough to have a relaxing vacay. I love the beach and Pool side!! the water is so clear. Just a piece of Advice (souvenir shop ) inside please like Davao Shirt, keychains of Davao so that tourist will no longer need to go to ALDEVINCO in DAVAO CITY just to buy souvenirs.

Overall the experience is worth while. You get the benefits of having a resort near the ferry port and have clean facilities. I just hope the restaurant service perks up. I am not sure if they had too many orders that night or they just lack staff.

Booked two rooms for 4 nights. The facilities were average at best. The wifi only worked in the lobby area. The one restaurant ran out of menu items and were not restocked in the week. On the positive side the staff at the hotel were friendly. We did many off site activities so this hotel was ok for resting and sleeping.

it was ok...there was no wi fi except in lobby, the router was like a home style router, internet experience was not good. At times lots of people pulling from the signal. they only gave you one towel per person in the room. you have to ask for more towels. No tooth paste or shampoo. Food service was good and the staff was very friendly and eager to help. The swimming pools were nice. On the up side it was affordable and a good value.

kids and adults alike running around at 12 midnight knocking on our room. most of the guests(those staying overnight in cottages) were loud, screaming. The hotel guests didnt have their privacy. Over night guests should not be allowed to roam around on the hotel. I will not recommend it to anybody.

Good place to stay and awesome location
The location of the place is great as it is near the port. It has a great infinity pool. The food is cheap but has great quality. The only downside is the beach is very small and the service fir the food is very slow. I suggest you placed your order at least 30 minutes before you eat so that you can eat on time and not waste time waiting for the food. however, you can use the money you saved from the low cost rooms and cheap food to tour the rest of the island.

simple but delightful stay
Right on beach, also large relaxing pool overlooking the beach, next door to convenience store and wharf and the the money you save on accommodation (compared to bigger resorts) you can use for getting around the island. Only negative is WiFi in lounge area only, but sometimes it is good also to not have it so accessible
