"Perfect in every way! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It's situated approx 7 mins away from town in one direction, so you can leave the car on the drive, (a major plus) and 10 mins walk away from the woods in the other: ideal for an early morning, or any time dog walk! There's a hose in the garden for dirty boots and dogs and the back gate locks for security. Heating was easy to adjust and the fire worked beautifully. The TV was easy to operate and the Wifi was fab!...

Warbrook House Heritage Hotel

"I really enjoyed our one night stay at the Warbrook. We were travelling as a family of 5 plus a small dog - we therefore had a total of three rooms, 2 in the old house and one in the Grange which is about 200m away from the old house. All rooms were clean and appeared recently decorated / renovated. I was really impressed with the rooms. The bed was comfortable (a little soft to my personal taste) and the bathrooms were great with rain showers. Rooms had all the facilities one would expect - tea/coffee facilities, iron & board, hair dryer etc... The only negative I would say and this was only evident during a heatwave, was there were no airconditioning in the rooms. There were however, very capable tower fans which aided a good nights sleep - even though they were a little noisy. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful (Sonya) and the staff at breakfast were also efficient and friendly. Breakfast was really good - the sausages and the scrambled eggs are worthy of special mention. The grounds and setting are really worth half an hour to explore. I recommend walking around the lake in the early morning - I saw plenty of dear and birdlife and it opens up a spectacular vista of the old house. when we arrived, there was a wedding taking place in a part of the grounds - that said, it didn't interfere with our stay at all and no noise could be heard from our rooms. I feel that a real effort is being made by this hotel and I applaud their efforts. I would stay again."

"The property was good value for the area, cheaper than other hotels. Building old and tired but expected this as relative to the price. Standard studio was a small room with fridge, microwave, hob and en-suite. Nothing special. No air-con but large wall fan helped. In short it was a no frills room, very cheap for the area and suited our needs for a one night stay. Would stay again if visiting the area for price alone and free parking."

"We have spent a wonderful time at Tylnley Hall, with a warm welcome. Our dinner was amazing, with delicious courses served with a perfect pace that ended with a goergeous pavlova. The room was really nice even if I have been a bit too hor, where air con would have been welcome to my taste but I like sleeping chillier that others. We enjoyed a continental breakfast with fresh fruits and pastries (thank you for the service Georgie ❤️) all well presented and tasteful. And after that what's best than some tanning next to a warm swimming pool with clean surrounding and a present and reactive staff, allowing extra rest after check out. And before leaving, early afternoon tea with delicious and generous nibbles, scones and cakes. 24 hours when we felt looked after. Thank you again for this stay."
