We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. The decor was beautiful, the shower was powerful. The toiletries smelt wonderful - always good to get conditioner supplied, too - A marker of a good quality hotel, in my opinion! We had dinner here and it was...

Clean, modern accomodation. Comfy bed. Nice and quiet. Slept very well.

Really nice staff, pleasant room and fabulous breakfast.

Fantastic room and service, well presented and adapted to the government’s pandemic guidelines. Jessica was incredibly welcoming and clearly loves her work. We just wish we’d stayed longer.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Apex Dundee, our room was really comfortable and spacious with a fabulous view across to the Tay Bridge and V&A. We ate in the restaurant and bar and everything was fresh and tasty. Looking forward to coming back!

Amazing

Absolutely fab stay. Maybe a bit more expensive than it should be for what’s offered. Room was bigger than expected and very clean. Wardrobe was small but it did the job for one night. Lighting was quite poor for getting ready and the vanity mirror is far too high to be useful. Bathroom was small but the shower was big and very good pressure. Basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) are provided. Tea and coffee also provided in the room. No parking on-site but there is a car park...

The staff are exceptionally good and friendly

Beautiful place. I've stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints.

The property location is stunning right on the Elie Beach. Staff were excellent and friendly and the food was fabulous. Will definitely return.

Elevated to good by the friendly and helpful staff. Booking in worker, Lee, particularly pleasant and helpful. Clean, well staffed and reasonably priced. Recommend !

Lovely, comfortable hotel with very pleasant staff.

Great place to stay friendly and food lovely one minor issue was the heavinesses of the duvet too hot for conditions as we had good weather

Great location to city centre, has parking but arrive in time to get a space. Rooms are amazing and staff are very helpful

I was on a business trip and specifically booked the Townhouse on the back of the highly positive online reviews. I wasn't disappointed. From the perfectly-toned welcome from David onwards, I was thoroughly impressed. There are 5 rooms and I was staying in one of the smaller rooms at the top. It was lovely: extremely clean, well designed and furnished throughout, very comfortable bed and lots of extras, such as the fruit, shortbread, proper coffee etc. Breakfast was exceptional and, overall, the...

The room was spotless and staff were excellent. Restaurant great for dinner and breakfast. First class place to stay.

Thank you to Heather for the wonderful hospitality, beautiful accommodation and breakfast. Everything was perfect: quiet; gorgeous room with large ensuite; fabulous breakfast; fast internet; close to water in Dundee; lovely 12miles drive to St Andrews. Best value for money and definitely a high end 4*. Would come back to Scotland just to stay here again.
