"Stayed here to go to a concert at Lanxness Arena and felt really safe on the way back. The tram station near the train station in Ehrenfeld was a little bit weird, but it was still full of families and other women around, and we only had to wait 10 minutes for the tram at around 10:30pm. A bit far from the city centre (12ish minutes on S-Bahn or regional train), but great location if you don’t mind public transport."

Never having been to cologne before, the location was perfect and allowed me to see everything I wanted in a short stay. Many many good restaurants in a short walking distance. Area was lively at night, and hotel felt safe. Only thing was the room had a semi private bathroom, due to design, but we figured it out and enjoyed thoroughly. I’m aware this is American of me to say that, but I believe it can be helpful to some. Great hotel, food, drinks, area. Would definitely stay again at Ruby Ella"
