"The room was clean and bright, the pull out sofa bed was a bit short for an adult and we weee above the kitchen which was noisy at closing but done by 10pm. Great staff, pretty location."

"Room was totally fine. Bed was comfy. Given tea and coffee. I brought my own little lamp as the only light is the main one. Toilets and shower are external and pretty run of the mill. Nice selection of beers and ales in the pub. Breakfast was nice"

"Quaint bed and breakfast hotel with lots of interesting period features. Ideally located in centre of town with parking and access to the lovely garden. There were magazines, and games to use, toiletries and sweets in room, good quality towels and bedding and breakfast was plentiful with great choices. A wonderful place for a few days in Pickering"

Me and my partner Ross stayed at The Cornmill last saturday and we both had a pleasent experience, Karen is very welcoming & accomodating and all round a lovely person. The room we stayed in was immaculate aswell and to top it all off, breakfast was absolutely superb! It's a 10/10 from both of us, we would highly recommend and we do plan on coming back in the future. Thank you so much

Booked as a getaway to celebrate my wife's Birthday. Arrived late but the Landlady was there to greet us (having called previously to check what time we were expecting to arrive). We'd been upgraded into a large and very comfortable room, containing a super queen bed (we'd given no pre-warning of the reasons for our weekend away). We had a really pleasant stay with a good choice of offerings for breakfast, all of which were well cooked and presented.

Our host, Rebecca, is obviously passionate about the guest experience. The Cordelia is a magnificent period property full of charm and warmth. The room was amazing - being roomy and well presented with period furniture, quality bedding and towels. The breakfast was probably the best we've had, made with top quality ingredients. It took us a whole day of walking to work it off! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My wife and myself stayed at the Miricia for the weekend and it was fantastic! The hotel was lovely and Joanne was friendly and welcoming. The room had a superb view and it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding! The hotel is situated on the north side but it is only a ten minute walk across town to get to the south side of Scarborough. We would recommend the Miricia Hotel to all who are looking for somewhere to stay when visiting Scarborough

Prices for B&Bs in Cropton often vary, but you can find a great deal from £65 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Cropton B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a Bed & Breakfast in Cropton?
The best time to book a B&B in Cropton is during the late spring and summer months, particularly from May to August. This period sees the village come alive with visitors eager to explore the North York Moors National Park. The mild weather, with temperatures often reaching into the low 20s Celsius, creates ideal conditions for hiking, cycling, and enjoying the beautiful landscapes.
July is particularly popular, attracting those who appreciate the vibrant atmosphere and the variety of outdoor activities available. You can expect to find picturesque walking trails, charming local pubs, and community events that showcase the best of Yorkshire hospitality. The long daylight hours enhance your sightseeing opportunities, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the area's natural beauty.
If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider visiting in November. While the weather may be cooler, the tranquility of Cropton during this month provides a unique charm. It's a superb time for cosy evenings in your B&B, with fewer crowds and the opportunity to enjoy the local scenery at a leisurely pace.
What is the difference between a Cropton B&B and a hotel?
Every Cropton B&B has its own unique feel. Whether it’s a cozy reading space or a sunlit breakfast nook to enjoy your morning cup of coffee, the quaint details are what make bed and breakfasts a home away from home. Travelers can look forward to personal touches, thoughtful amenities and of course a scrumptious breakfast at Cropton B&Bs.
