"Fantastic pool and great staff "

"Lovely couple of nights. Very relaxing in this lovely hotel. Staff very welcoming; large cosy bedroom-lovely and fresh with en-suite and super shower. Fridge in room with complimentary water and tunnocks teacakes! Tea and coffee facilities. Breakfasts were delicious-good selection of cold buffet with freshly made cooked breakfast-SO tasty! Parking available though car park maybe should have signs where not to park as difficult to navigate down into overflow car park due to people parking too close to entrance!! Hotel is on a hill so fine if walking down into the Town but a bit of a struggle walking up the hill if unfit like my husband and I are😀 Wonderful stay, will be back"

"Take care although this property is in a fabulous location, clean and has friendly staff. Bed was very uncomfortable/hard, our shower room flooded, we were put in a room that was so dark in lighting you could barely see and the third party provider double charged us for parking and hotel is unable to assist with this when i called for help and provider is uncontactable."

"Don't take a room on the ground floor, you hear EVERYTHING from those STOMPING about upstairs, NEVER staying there again! It's down to the two level NOT having CONCRETE between the 2 floors."

"Our stay was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Check‑in was uninformative, and we were handed a piece of paper that turned out to contain outdated instructions about car registration. After rushing back downstairs, we were told it didn’t apply — so it really shouldn’t be given to guests at all. The restaurant experience wasn’t any better. Service was poor, the staff complained about making cocktails, and they were spilled twice. The food was average, the wine list wasn’t available, and they had even run out of beer. The pool area was under maintenance and clearly in need of repair, which wasn’t communicated beforehand. When we lost our room key in the lockers, the response from the front desk was rude and dismissive, with the staff member more focused on her phone than helping. Overall, the hotel itself was average, but the staff and service were well below expectations. We would not return."

"Our suite was excellent value for money. Pool area was clean & tidy. Staff were attentive & friendly. Breakfast had plenty of options on the continental buffet as well as the option of ordering hot/cooked options. I’d honestly have stayed for an extra night if I’d known it was going to be this enjoyable! "
