"The hotel team are enthusiastic and helpful always polite and accommodating across all departments The hotel is under going upgrades and they are very considering guests we arrived late on the Wednesday and the night reception gentleman was very helpful and very knowledgeable and made us very welcome"

"Good and secure parking, we arrived on motorcycles. Staff very friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable, there was though a small staircase to the bathroom which may not suit some people. The bed was large and comfortable. Due to the shape of the old building, access to my room was up and down sets of stairs and through numerous doors which could be an issue for old or infirm persons. No porters available to take bags. Carpet in the dining room was worn creating bumps that could become a trip hazard to some. "

"Despite the 1960s look from the front and the scaffolding this hotel is built into the side of the hill is a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was excellent and the views of Mawgan Porth were stunning even in the unpleasant weather that we had. Really enjoyed the spa too. Even the Yogi tea that was on offer. Would definitely stay there again"
