"From the minute we walked through the door, we knew that Forest Trail Lodge was a special place. The layout of the house is perfect with access into the forest from the gate in the garden. A 20 minute walk to the shops and bars in Aviemore, and nice walks on the doorstep. Aviemore is a lovely place to stay, surrounded by mountains and lochs. A short drive or a regular bus to Rothiemurchus and Cairngorm Mountain Resort with lots of activities; walks, mountain biking, winter sports and more"
