Bed was very soft and not very comfortable. Hotel was full so we couldn't get another mattress. Comforter, while ok, was very heavy. Staff was very nice overall and friendly. Probably won't stay there again. Too bad as it's in a great location.
I stayed Tues-Wed, so your experience may vary, but I am pleased. Quick check in. All staff were friendly and helpful. They were holding the door for me when I was carrying things, and asking how they could help with smiles. For the 3 stars, the room was attractive, clean, and maybe a bit nicer than expected. They did not put their money into a lobby, but it was fine. It is the "Seville" and the hallways look like a Seville avenue of sorts. Cute. The bed was good, but a bit harder than my mattress at home. The curtains opened from the side only, so no problem completely blocking out sunlight. Enough space for hangups and folded clothing. Bathroom was nice, with ample counter that appeared to be made of some black stone. The HVAC system was more evident (humming), which might be irritating to some, but it was not distracting to me, and I do not watch TV. I just sat and read, so the noise was not bad. It was well lit and there was no need to get a wi-fi password - connected automatically. Good desk room for working. This hotel is very near the Country Club Plaza, but far enough to cost under $100 (expedia). I was able to walk to my meeting and they let me park the entire day even though I checked out that morning. The parking lots are in a city, so crime is always a concern. Both lots were well lit, but I would advise getting there early enough to enjoy the front lot (I arrived at close to 10 p.m., and even on a Tues night, the front lot was full (20-25 spaces)
"Convenient for going out & not driving yourself!"
From stepping in the first time we were greeted by very friendly faces behind the front desk check-in and check-out was a breeze. The best part was having a free shuttle service for when we went out that weekend and didn't want to drive. The shuttle took 4 minutes to pick us up and take us back to the hotel! The bed was COMFORTABLE. The staff everywhere acknowledged us. Only thing that bothered us was the super thin walls. We were awoken twice throughout the night just from neighbors talking and laughing.
