The hotel itself is decent. What I like about it are the complimentary amenities for the location such as wifi, parking, refrigerator in room, etc. It is very convenient to have this in the plaza area without paying extra. My room was surprisingly quiet. My husband used the business room for a video conference and that worked smoothly. I'd recommend this hotel if you're not up to anything really fancy but want a decent place to stay.
We were in and out for a one night stay. The hotel is in a good location near the Country Club Plaza and only a short drive to the downtown area. The room was nice and the price was very affordable. Our view from the 18th floor was great! The staff was welcoming and friendly. The thermostat was set at 72 degrees, but the temperature in our room was 65 degrees. We called the front desk and they immediately sent a gentleman to take care of the problem. We slept comfortably all night. Parking is always an issue in any hotel in these city settings. There is an additional charge of $16 per day for self-park and $20 for valet parking. We would definitely stay here again.
Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and you can order an omelette. Only draw back parking is limited and you will have to park far away.
We enjoyed two nights at the Intercontinental Hotel within walking distance of many nice restaurants and shopping venues at Country Club Plaza. We had a beautiful view of the Plaza holiday lights from our room. The staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful. The lounge and dining areas are comfortable and nicely decorated.
Everything about the room was good, no issues. My only complaint was the difficulty I had getting my room door open with the key card. It took 2-20 attempt for the card to be recognized and unlock the door. Hotel staff alerted but nothing changed with a new card.
