Fantastic stay and facilities, we thoroughly enjoyed out little hideaway. This place is a hidden gem and we definitely will be back. Only downfalls are the fact that it isn't advertised so well as this property has huge potential, gym is a little on the small side and it most definitely could do with a onsite restaurant for gain revenue for the place to maximise the income but it didnt effect our stay as we had all the facilities we needed in our lodge and planned on going out anyhow.

Stayed for 1 night, rooms are basic but very clean and the beds are comfy.Food was excellent and the breakfast was worth waiting for.

Booked for a couple of nights while visiting alton towers and found the place superb value. Food in restaurant good and staff were very friendly and helpful. Also didn't add breakfast at the time of booking and when we asked to add for the 2 days when checking in the receptionist added for no extra charge. Would definitely and will be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else visiting the area.

Nice hotel situated close to branston water park convenient for groceries and a couple of nice pubs nearby. Hotel clean tidy and run by a professional staff highly recommended

We couldn’t have had a warmer welcome or to be made feel so valued as a guest. The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. We had all of the amenities we needed and more besides. Breakfast was lovely and were offered top ups of hot drinks. Probably one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in a while!

Stayed 1 night as attending a wedding nearby. Room was lovely, clean tidy and warm. Thank you for the little welcome note and chocolates, a really nice touch.. Impressed with the bathroom, very clean and shower was great. Breakfast was really good, prompt service and staff greeted us warmly. Lovely lady in Reception who chatted with us. Would definitely recommend as can't find anything to fault.

Nice hotel, nice friendly staff....breakfast was plentiful & good. A couple of things.. The room was cold & the electric heater was manually adjustable took quite a while to heat the room up. Another thing we had twin beds...my single mattress was terrible....soon at you ley on it it squashed to half its size & made a terrible noise like all the springs were coming apart...& I'm not a heavy person....other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Another great stay thanks to Dougie and Becky, you are wonderful hosts. Enjoyed all meals in a great atmosphere, if you are looking to visit the area I highly recommend this as a great place to stay

We booked this hotel due to its location to Donington Circuit. The location was perfect, the circuit being about 10 minutes drive away (maximum). The owners were lovely and very friendly, Beverley helped us find somewhere to eat on a Sunday when everywhere else was closed or had finished serving. Although the hotel is on the main road, the small town of Melbourne is quiet and the road isn't busy - even on a bank holiday weekend. There are a number of places to eat nearby including a lovely...

Absolutely amazing the room was just brill,the pool was so relaxing, the grounds were beautiful,staff were friendly and helpful, food was pricey but what do you expect with such an amazing place,we will defiantly be going back

It's been great Comfortable enough Not overly expensive Came the week before Christmas so Christmas activities on, which my 3 year old loved! We're vegan and they accommodated for us at breakfast All the staff have been super lovely. For us/the price, so much easier than coming to Thomasland last year We'd stay here again Do have to pay for car parking (we paid £7 for both nights) which isn't obvious.

We found this hotel on the off chance and so glad we did. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and tidy.

Clean and well presented room and bathroom. Quiet considering it’s above a pub. Ideal for town centre and surrounding attractions. Overnight parking included which is handy. Have stayed here several times and can’t fault, highly recommended. Does what it says on the tin 👍
