Cooke City and Silver Gate, MT are two low-key options if you're visiting Yellowstone and want to stay in a quieter, more remote location. If you come to Yellowstone from Red Lodge, you'll come right into Cooke City at the end of the beautiful Beartooth Highway.

This driver is well worth the anxiety of the drive. We stopped and took many pictures. The road had only been open a couple of weeks and we loved it. #LifeAtExpedia
