"We really enjoyed our stay. It was refreshing staying in an independently run hotel as we often stay at chain hotels. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming- nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice and the breakfast was really good. The pool and spa facilities were a really nice feature. The only niggle was that there was no air conditioning in the room. It was so warm, despite having a desk top fan, that we found it difficult to sleep. Overall, a great hotel at a reasonable price."

"Always a great experience here. Regularly stay here for work and the location is quiet, which is great after a long day. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable and the amenities available are great. Bar prices are higher than I’d expect for being in the North, but the quality and selection available is great. The swimming pool is quite small, but serves a purpose and has a hot tub which is a bonus. "

" I really enjoyed this gem of a hotel near Liverpool Town Hall. It’s housed in a beautifully preserved historic building with stylish, modern interiors. The bed was comfortable and spotless, and the views from the room were stunning. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"Perfect location for us. Was a last minute booking to break our journey up. Quick & easy check in, warm welcome from the staff. Plenty of food options in and around the hotel. 2 minute walk to royal Albert dock that we didn’t expect. Snook a sneaky visit to Anfield in too for the wee man"
