The Chaumiere is really the only good hotel in this area, decor feels a little set in the 1990's, but facilities are great and the set menu at the restaurant is a real treat. It has a nice casual feel and a very attentive owner/manager

Staff seemed overworked, but very accommodating. Menu in restaurant was limited and pretencious in quality. Pool is very badly placed, clients of restaurant have a direct view, so hotel guests do not enjoy a private pool area. Very disappointing not to take advantage of the pool during a heat wave!

"The property is old but well taken care of inside and very clean. There is no AC, which during a heat wave means you have to leave the window open with a fan on to bring in cool night air….but this also meant that we heard trucks and motorcycles on the road (the property is right on the road) as ..."
