"This is my second stay at this amazing villa..Clean and tidy and communication with the host was fabulous…Beautiful location and with out a shadow of a doubt I will return..Coffee and wine and essentials were on site when I arrived…Full fruit bowl as well as allowed to help myself to fresh lemons off the tree in the little orchard..Thank you for an amazing holiday.Enjoyed my swim every morning before breakfast in the pool."

"It was a beautiful vacation. Gladly again. :) The stay was great and the host was very friendly. However, you should be a good driver and not afraid of heights, because the route to the house is quite challenging. Especially if you want to walk into town. Yes, it can be reached on foot, but you shouldn't go back up the mountain with a full stomach. Just a little tip. :D If you want to look after yourself and enjoy the peace and quiet, the house is perfect. Otherwise the daily walk/trip downhill...

"Pros: The host Paul is very friendly and helpful. He gave us useful tips. It's a quiet and peaceful place to stay and very very clean. This house feels like home, everything you needed is there. The beds and lining were very comfortable and the house smells good. From the sunny terrace with a nice swimming pool and barbeque place, there is a wonderful view on green hills and olive plantations. Within a short drive are the beautiful white mountain village of Cómpeta, the Sierra Nevada, beaches...

From the moment we arrived, we were less like guests and more like friends. Warmth, genuine hospitality and passion for both the guesthouse and the beautiful village of Cómpeta shine through in everything. The guesthouse itself is stunning. Beautifully restored, immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed, it perfectly blends traditional Andalusian charm with modern comfort. Every detail has clearly been considered. The rooms are peaceful, the communal spaces are welcoming and the rooftop terrace is the perfect place to unwind and take in the atmosphere of this incredible white village. What really made our stay special wasn’t just the accommodation, it was the feeling. It felt calm, authentic and refreshingly personal. "The hotel is well situated, just off the pedestrian street and about 2 lines back from the beach promenade. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around. The room was clean, spacious and had a good size balcony overlooking a side street. The reception staff spoke excellent English and could provide information if needed. The only small negative point is that the tea/coffee supply is a “welcome gift” and not necessarily replaced. Definitely worth making “friends” with housekeeping!! We will happily return."
