The outside appearance of the motel was dated, but the rooms were wonderful, and the beds were very comfortable. The price was reasonable, and the close access to the airport was very convenient. The real plus of the stay was the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Susho Wara was definitely 5 stars, with a great selection and some of the best sushi I have had in Canada.

I'm personally a big fan of this place anytime I have to catch the early flight out of Comox since I live on Denman and there's no ferries that run that early. It is a bit older but the price is fair during the off season and staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast is good and the Sushi restaurant attached to the hotel is very good. I personally think this is the best price for the value for any quick stay in Comox.

The people were nice but the room had a bit of an odor, the continental breakfast was somewhat lacking, and there just weren’t many amenities. For an affordable motel that’s conveniently located it met my needs. There wasn’t any real flexibility around late check out or extended stay one night due to a large party coming in but that’s not their fault just a small place.
