Unfortunately, the decor of the room seemed very old and used and there was a musty smell throughout. Also, there was a live band playing jazz in the restaurant and we could hear it in our suite until about 11pm. That might be a negative or a positive depending on what you like to do with your evenings. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The pool, hot tub and sauna were enjoyable. The food in the restaurant was perfection. We had the best sleep we have had in weeks; very quiet where our room was located even with live music. Qualicum Beach Hotel is a favourite place to stay.
