Warm welcome, friendly helpful staff, very enjoyable reasonably priced evening meal. Excellent breakfast. The room on the top floor accessed by a steep staicase, was spacious and very clean, slight downside the mattress was a little tired. The location of the hotel was ideal very close to town centre. Tip. The restaurant is very popular so book a table in advance. Watch out for parking fines, paying by phone does not always work, one guest paid by phone and still got £100 worth of parking...

Amazing food in the restaurant with very large portions. We stayed in room 4 which was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Beds are very comfy and the room temperature was comfortable. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely be returning.

A friendly welcome from the host. He went out of his way to book us an alternative evening meal and taxi as the restaurant was booked up that day. Room was as expected. Breakfast was good and a good choice available all with friendly service.

Mixed emotions about my stay at the Talardy Hotel. Unfortunately I was isolating because I was having cancer treatment and my wife and kids all had coughs and colds. So I booked the Talardy as it was very reasonably priced and around the corner from the hospital I was getting chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Lovely hotel. Our room was in The Town House. It was large and had everything you need. Comfy bed, lots of sockets, big bathroom with good shower. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Friendly staff. No parking at the hotel but that wasn’t a problem as there is a big car park a short walk away which only cost £6 for 24hours. Would definitely stay there again.
