8/10 Good
"Our room was clean and neat. Did not smell at all. Staff at checkin was a little brusque and less than welcoming but okay. Breakfast was very good, one of the better hotel breakfasts we’ve had. Plenty of parking. While we liked this hotel and would consider staying here again, we probably won’t. The pet fee is $50 per night, which is too much. We’ve always paid between $25-35 and a few places have let our pet stay for free. Not many, but a few. We understand that the few bad pet owners are the problem. We understand that and support making pet owners who are irresponsible and inconsiderate pay for their pets. We once had to stay in a motel where you could tell cats had been allowed to roam free because the carpet (and room) smelled like cat urine. We used nearly an entire can of Fabreeze to overcome the smell. But for the high pet fee here, we won’t be back although if you don’t have a pet, it’s definitely a good place to spend a night or two."
