Staff was very friendly and when we had a problem, it was immediately fixed. Not a five star hotel but we enjoyed what we got. And cannot express enough how nice the staff is.

Family weekend
It was good, we stayed to go to the Waterpark. The only thing the keys didn't work all the time. If you left hotel to go somewhere you would loose any parking for people parking at hotel to go to Waterpark.

This is close to the end of our trip. Room was clean and quiet. Got extra towels and was given directions to several places for dinner which are close.

In today’s society where awareness of tobacco use carries several health issues, why is smoking allowed? We had a non-smoking room but still experienced smoke from other areas. Not good!

Older unit for price. Overall was clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was average, no fruit or juice. Microwave was absolutely filthy. Handicap shower was tricky. Floors become very slippery because of tile inside room and also steps going into building.

Good experience, friendly staff!
The staff was so friendly and helpful. There was an issue with the door to my room not working correctly but they got someone to look at it right away. They explained that they were under new ownership and I could tell they were really working hard to make the place an enjoyable place to stay. They were very courteous to me and my son. The room was simple but clean. The one thing that I forgot to mention to them as I was leaving was that the TV box was hard to get to, which meant I had to hold the remote at a funny angle in order to change the channels. I think this would be a simple fix and they will probably get around to that, as I see they are working hard to make a lot of changes. We enjoyed our stay there and we will go back again.

I booked my stay with hotels.com for a Saturday night stay at the Collins Inn in Collins, Mississippi. My husband and I arrived with our two children just before 11pm on 14 May. Checking in went smooth. The first key card we were issued would not work (I will address this later). We were assigned a new room. I noticed urine on the toilet seat and floor, there was sand in the tub. I cleaned both with cleaning supplies that I travel with and put my two boys into the bath as we had attended an outdoor wedding and they were dirty. At this time my husband informed me that the air conditioning was not working. I then noticed that the toilet was close to overflowing as I had just flushed it. My husband went downstairs to inform staff and came back with a key card to a different room. This room was a smoking room and the Ac was inoperable in it as well. I then went back downstairs and was told we could stay in the original room we were assigned with key access. The Inn attendant attempted to opened the door to find that the latch was locked indicating that there was someone in the room. They had a brief conversation and it’s was to be determined that the individual wasn’t supposed to be there. I went back and collected our things and we left just before 1am. I’ve never seen a more poorly managed facility. Do not stay here if you have any ounce of pride for the conditions in which you’re willing to stay in.
