Very clean, quaint, quiet place to stay. Didn’t get to eat at the restaurant because it was a bit pricey, however, the location of the hotel is great with lots of other options around.
Excellent stay! The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Everything exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful experience. Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend it!!
The Dorchester Hotel is a gem in Collingwood. The rooms are tastefully decorated with wonderful amenities. The staff were very helpful. The perfect place to unwind with the right amount of glam! Perfect for people looking for boutique option to the chain hotels.
Very nice boutique hotel but there are no amenities such as food and beverage, common areas such as an outdoor garden. I felt that the value wasn’t there for amount of money spent. When you need to order through Uber Eats to receive “room service”, you shouldn’t be paying over $400 a night.
When staying at the Dorchester they've got you covered!! luxury boutique hotel with the best location! Housekeeping, front desk staff and restaurant provide the best service you can ask for. Thanks for an amazing weekend, looking forward to the next visit :)
Beautiful historical hotel in the heart of the picturesque town of Collingwood. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. Just be aware that parking is extra. Staff were really helpful. Thanks for a great mini break
Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Collingwood. Minutes walk from tons of delicious restaurants. The staff are very friendly and our room was spotless.
One of the best hotels we have stayed at!! Cool aesthetic! Rooms are amazing. Great location, close to all the great shops, bars and restaurants in downtown Collingwood.
We went for one night and stayed in a king suite and it was so lovely. The decor was beautiful and the little details made it so special; like the turntable with a few records, and nespresso machine with large cozy mugs! Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Overall 10/10 stay.
I fell in love with this establishment the moment I entered. Decorated beautifully. The staff were amazing. They were friendly and very accomodating. The bartender was very personable and knowledgeable as a mixologist. The room was very clean and comfortable. Felt like a luxury room! The hotel is very close to shops, coffee shops, a spa and restaurants. Lots to do! Highly recommend! I would definitely return!
The staff were incredibly helpful. My car needed servicing and the staff picked me up and drove me back to the hotel after dropping off my car at the local Canadian tire.
Beautifully restored, it is now a very comfortable hotel. Nice room, with a spacious living room area adjoining a nicely stocked kitchen (though a microwave would have been nice.) Beautiful touches throughout. Stylish without being uncomfortable, a great balance. All staff were very friendly.
The main downside is that the locks (outside doors and to the room) are all controlled by ones' smartphone -- this feels too risky.
Well managed, clean property. The staff were polite and helpful. The room was nicely appointed although lacked space around the bed and insufficient shelving in the room. The mattress was very, very soft which gave you back pain in the morning. Overall we would stay here again for one night but not more than that without a better mattress.
