The location is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout our visit. Breakfast was simply amazing and a real highlight each morning. We also thoroughly enjoyed the excellent restaurant and the resort’s facilities, which made it a lovely place to relax and unwind. We highly recommend Altarocca and would happily return."

"We had a lovely 5 night stay at La Sovana in their apartment complex. We had a 2-bedroom, 2-bath with kitchen. It was the perfect set up for 2 couples to share. My only wish was that it included a washer/dryer set up. Laundry is available for a fee which we did use but it would be nice if there was washing capability in the apartment itself. The staff were super helpful, the property is clean and well maintained. The food in the restaurant is very good as well. We would definitely return to La Sovana."

"The hotel is well situated very close to the mini metro where you can also easily take an elevator to the top of the historic centre or walk (lots of stairs); close to main points of interest and places to eat. While The Building is old, certainly my room had upgrades modern bathroom, very comfortable bed, and it was really clean apart from shower dispenser soap. There are no other amenities like shampoo and conditioner. I enjoyed my stay. If you were travelling casually, this is the place for you. I travelled alone and I felt very safe. However, some business travellers may need more amenities like a proper desk, etc.. staff was very hopeful"
