"We had an overnight stay at Wivenhoe, we had early drinks at the bar and Isaac was super attentive, polite and friendly. Isaac is a credit to the team and came across hard working and conscientious The room was clean and well maintained, bed was very comfy and we had a very peaceful and restful night. The grounds are beautiful we took a walk around the lake then went for more cocktails at the bar. It was an easy drive back into Colchester to see the historic castle the following day. Would highly recommend to all and would love to visit again 😍👏"

"Arrived at the hotel to find the description and pictures were not as described within the advert for the hotel. The was cars blocking the entrance to the hotel,the decor and cleanliness was awful throughout the hotel and the room. We had no towels in our room and we had until midnight before they come out of the tumble dryer. As advertised there was no hairdryer. Overall it spoiled our weekend away as we had a limited budget and was unable to book alternative accommodation. We would like to request a full or partial refund."
