"An excellent, comfortable and stylish stay in the peaceful highlands a short distance from Fort Augustus. Well located for exploring the area around Loch Ness and the Eastern side of the North Coast 500, we also took a day trip to the Isle of Skye which was easy enough. Thoroughly impressed by the facilities in the cottage, very tastefully decorated and with everything you might need whilst away. The tea, coffee and milk on arrival was a nice touch. "Stayed for a week in this cottage with fabulous views. Very clean and just about everything you need. We were only missing a corkscrew and egg cups, but anything else you need is there. Not quite as homely as we would have hoped as the cottage is quite sparse, but still had a wonderful time. Great to be able to access the canal and take a nice long walk to Neptune’s staircase from the cottage!"

"Really great place! The Highland Club is beautiful with lots to do. We loved Moat House 1. Comfy beds, great shower and bathtub. Nice sitting room upstairs and kitchen is pretty and updated. The kids (15, 19 & 21) all loved it! The cloisters were beautiful and the whole area is just great! I really recommend it!"

"7 of us stayed here for the last week of summer and we had an amazing time. The house was the perfect location, with comfortable beds and stunning views from the upstairs bedrooms. The kitchen facilities were perfect for what we needed- recommend bringing a food shop with you as the closest supermarket is a while away but the local co-op was perfect for bits and bobs we’d forgotten. The Grey Mares Tail waterfall right on the doorstep was a lovely afternoon out and the local pubs were friendly...

"Whilst it has some minor upgrade/ maintainance work in progress it didnt impact on our stay. The continuous flashing light in the hall outside our room overnight was annoying though! Either dicky electrics or haunted ! ( cant vouch for either being the case!) Fabulous accomodating staff, rooms were clean and well presented , more outdated than some places but quirky charm . Just off the town green parade area, well appointed next to train station and short walk from ferry landing ( well worth a short trip across the loch . Good selection of shops and eateries nearby.wouls return and reccomend "
