We had a lovely 2 night stay here, ideal position for sightseeing, the room was big and spacious with very comfortable beds. Paul and his staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, Paul was an awesome host. We had a wonderful breakfast, lots of choices and the chilli con carne on the evening menu was amazing, we will definitely be back

The property is older and really white. No decor, not very homey, but we had a 2 bedroom, that was clean, smelled nice, had a bathtub and as very roomy. Excellent location for Fort William. The desk person was a hoot, so nice. We enjoyed our time there.

Paul is the owner, he is also the Bartender and cook. The rooms were very clean. We had a king bed and it was comfy. The breakfast and dinner was good.

Fantastic stay at the Ox Hotel in Spean Bridge! Everything was great, featuring super convenient parking right outside the room, a completely hassle-free check-in, and wonderfully friendly staff. It has that cozy Highland charm and makes a brilliant base for exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Walking into the hotel. You hear the jiggling of faeries, walking into the room feels like a Swedish Lodge, the bathroom brought back a memory of Greece. Plenty parking.

Zero water pressure, no hot water, couldn't shower or even brush our teeth! This is a rundown hotel, it felt like we were staying at a boarding house, far too expensive for what you get. The only upside was the staff who were kind and helpful.

It provides basic accommodation, which was all we required for an overnight stay, while walking the Great Glen Way. I would not choose the Ox for a longer stay, but the chalet was clean and reasonably well appointed and the staff were friendly.

Was welcomed on arrival by Paul the wonderfully helpful manager and upgraded to a chalet outside. Spotlessly clean room, big, comfortable bed with good quality linens. Parking was right next to our chalet which was handy. The main hotel building is being renovated, so there aren't many facilities or amenities, but we still had a very good stay.

Being renovated - so sketchy looking. Room was basic and clean. Shower was broken. Very friendly owner - Paul. No Air conditioning so an open window with loud traffic. I stayed in a room , not a cabin those seemed nicer and they are farther from the road.

Fantastic staff and friendly area, just down the hill from the Spean Bridge train station. The rooms are more like cabins and a small motel rather than a hotel, but are kept clean and are near a good nature trail (ask about High trail). Ember buses pick up at the bus stop a couple of minutes walk down the street. I think City Link buses also go through the area.
