I really enjoyed my stay at the Cambeth guest house. The owner met us upon arrival to show us to our room, one of 10 in the house. The detail in the property is second to none. It has all the charm an older house has to offer and very well upgraded to meet any ones standard. At first impressions you get a sense of how well the property is taken care of and it gives a sense of being at home. The detail in the decor is beautiful. The bed was comfortable, their were robes available for use and the washroom was very well updated with a nice rain shower, There were snacks, water, coffee and tea available in the room. She also had a local tourist map in the room which was a great help, Upon leaving the house the owner has provided umbrellas for use for the short walk to the downtown. I found the house very quiet and there is lots of parking for guests on sight. I would definitely recommend this guest house.

Absolutely amazing! The gentleman there was the most hospitable, kind, helpful, respectful host we have had in our trip to Scotland. Absolutely incredible! I wish we had stayed an extra night

The reason I have given poor ratings is mainly because of the bathroom shower. It was set at a high temparature and the dial/knob was not working so we literally had to take a shower in scalding water. We complained on the day we checked in and a manager came to look but he was least bothered. He tried turning the knob once or twice and then said this is how it's going to be. We did complain about this at check out next morning but the staff were not bothered, just said sorry.

Amazing place, very very nice

Really nice! Heated bathroom floors, great shower, all toiletries provided! Afternoon tea was lovely. And dining was lovely!
