The bar had a large variety of whiskies and the staff knew what she was talking about and introduced us to new distilleries based on our preferences. - we enjoyed our stay with this lodge. "

"Spectacular stay. The castle is such a unique experience as a hotel and we loved every minute. The property is beautiful and the service was five star. The only negative was a giant beehive outside our room which prevented us from opening the window. A couple bees also made it inside our room but we were able to “guide” them back out with a small towel. Fortunately neither of us are allergic but my wife was not happy. However this didn’t ruin our stay and we would absolutely return and recommend to anyone. Definitely pricey but we found it worth it. "
