10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel. The staff were brilliant and for the price that we paid the hotel was amazing value. We took our dog who was well looked after and the woodland in the hotels grounds were great for his walks. The food was really good value and there are some lovely places to visit. Loved our stay and already planning our return"

What is a historic hotel like in Clitheroe?
Guests who choose historic hotels have the opportunity to stay in a building officially recognised with a historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world can take the form of castles, stately homes, palaces or even pubs, lodges, old police stations or skyscrapers — any building that's been identified as being of special interest. These types of hotels in Clitheroe typically retain original characteristics like traditional architecture and period features in their communal spaces or guestrooms.

The two are similar. "Historic hotel" is more commonly used in the U.S., while "heritage hotel" is often used in Asia and Europe.
