"Cofy bed and quiet room"

"We booked a Double Ensuite Room. On arrival our room was the family room. Wow what a massive room. It had 3 beds. Lovely fresh looking room, so clean. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great pressure and water was hot. We also booked a twin room. This too was lovely and clean. Had a kettle, teas and coffees for use, as did the Double Room. Pauline & Dave were brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much if you requested anything. You could tell that they had been hosts for a long time. Breakfast was choosen by yourself, ticked off your prefered items on a list. Presentation was appetising. More toast, tea or coffee was not a problem. I would highly reccommend you stay at the Adelaide Guest House for a welcoming homely stay. I definitely will be staying here on my next visit to Clacton On Sea. "We had a very pleasant stay. Every member of staff seemed to go out of their way to be helpful. Our room was clean if a little dated and the bed was extremely comfortable .. We enjoyed using the pool and the changing room was fine. We did not have pound coins for the lockers and the hotel is cash free. Maybe advise guests on check in to bring a coin? Food choice was limited but we enjoyed our dinner . Breakfast was fairly standard but plentiful and well organised We would stay again"

"The only bad point was the awful mattress. For me it was just worn out. But, the price paid and everything else was unbeatable. The full English was amazing value for money cooked just right and lots of it, superb. A lovely stay in a great seafront room. Would use this hotel again."
