"We would highly recommend a stay at Moorhens Rest. The check in process was smooth and the house itself was fitted to a high standard with everything you could need. Situated by the lake, it provided a lovely view to wake up to and we enjoyed walks around the lake every evening. There is plenty to do for all of the family with access to a range of facilities on site including a games room and tennis courts. We very much look forward to staying again in the future."

"Excellent hotel with very good rooms, quiet location on the edge of a large park. Plenty of parking and off beaten track so secure in that respect. Nice restaurant with varied menu choices; breakfast excellent. Staff welcoming and very helpful. I would definitely use this again in preference to others closer to or in the town but really need car to access."

"Great stay. Thank you to Joy for her help and making such a great overnight stay for my fiancés 30th bday. Photos did not do the property justice it was so spacious including the ground floor balcony. We will be coming back and can’t wait. The food was great and so was the breakfast & pancakes!! "Dumbleton Hall has undergone a huge multi-million pound refurbishment, and it shows. The finish combines beautiful finishes, sumptuous fabrics and age-worn character features which have been tastefully restored. The staff were all extremely polite and attentive, with the exception of one evening when we were left waiting to order drinks.
