Room, dining room and bar all comfortable and full of character and spotless. Food good quality with friendly and efficient service. Excellent attention to detail throughout. Plenty of parking in own car park. "

"This is a brilliant place to stay. Lovely ancient pub, very cosy. Food is delicious ! The waitresses are adorable and can't do enough for you. Our room was spacious with a good mattress. A bonus in the bathroom: ginger-scented toiletries! Only downside: deliveries at 6am, just under our window..."

"Charming hotel in the center of Cirencester with friendly staff. Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need. Note that there is no A/C but there was a fan in my room that kept things pleasantly cool. There is no lift so rooms may not be accessible for everyone (but they can help you carry your suitcases to the room). The bathroom has lovely amenities (White Linen) but be careful getting into/out of the tub as it can be slippery. Breakfast is available in the dining room with multiple tasty hot options and a nice cold buffet with cereal, juice, yogurt, fruit and pastries. Coffee & tea are also available in the rooms. (I suggest making coffee in your room since the coffee served in the dining room is mediocre; this was really the only negative of the stay). We had dinner one night in the pub/restaurant and it was very good with plentiful vegetarian options."
