Stratton House Hotel & Spa

Stratton House Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"Despite the incredibly hot weather and lack of aircon (due to the age of the beautiful building) our room was wonderfully cool. The lady on reception was so personable, polite and friendly, a joy to deal with. Perfect for visiting friends in Stratton Court Village."

Wild Thyme & Honey

Wild Thyme & Honey

8/10 Good
"A tastefully developed pub with ample rooms, stylish appearance and appealing atmosphere. Dinner was a little disappointing (had the buttermilk chicken burger) which felt as if it had been pre-prepared/defrosted and reheated. May have just been an unlucky experience as generally the food reviews are very good and the breakfast was truly excellent and very fresh. Husband's burger was good. Staff very pleasant. We had a waterside suite which looked over the cricket pitch at the back so was quiet. Used it as a base to start the Thames Path walk at its source near Kemble."

"Ideal location for visiting Cirencester and the Cotswolds. Phil and Debbie were very welcoming. The cottage was lovely, clean, and quiet. We had a very good dining experience at the Falcon Inn, which is within walking distance. We definitely recommend it."
