Cotteswold House
10/10 Excellent
"If I could give this inn a six out of five stars, I would. From helping me get a cab to get to the inn in the dead of night to a sumptuous breakfast every morning to allowing me to use their laundry facilities, it was all above and beyond. My suite in one of the self-catering cottages with a porch overlooking the fields was lovely and modern. Highly recommend, and the town of Bibury is charming"

"Was a lovely hotel the only thing I'd say let the experience down was the fact you didn't receive breakfast and for £260 for the room for 1 night, it would have been nice to have it included."

"My room was clean and cosy, albeit a little chilly but it is a very old building so to be expected. Bed was so comfy and I slept like a baby. Shower was very hot which I love! The staff in the pub were really helpful, food was delicious and Cruz the Fox Red Lab was my favourite. My only gripe was the wifi, this isn’t the pubs fault at all, a separate company runs the rooms and the wifi is terrible. Dropped in and out constantly. Thankfully the pub supplies their own wifi so I was able to work downstairs in the pub. Thank you and I’ll be back, I had a lovely stay."

"What a gem of a place! Lovely room, lovely staff and a great pub too. Breakfast was delicious, but try and make a booking for dinner as they get very busy. We also had great recommendations for places to go. Would we stay here again? Absolutely 10/10"
De Vere Cotswold Water Park

"The hotel is very nice, room clean with a lovely view of the lake. Food and drinks in the bar were very good with a nice atmosphere The spa was very disappointing though as the pool was far too cold and most of the spa type features (jets etc) were not working. Also we mistakenly left an item in the room which the hotel staff told us was not handed in which is again very disappointing when staying at an upmarket hotel."

"I was hesitant to book The Swan because some reviews said the rooms were tired, but I thought the hotel was very well maintained, had charm and well decorated. The building is old, so not everything is perfect, but that’s the beauty of it! The location is fantastic, and it’s great being able to park. Food was good, too. Would definitely recommend!"

"Great location and very welcoming staff. Superb breakfast. We were touring with bikes and they were very helpful to arrange secure store but I would recommend you tell them in advance you’ve got bikes so can make space available"
