"No shops but fantastic bus service just outside the hotel.The best Chinese over the road.Would highly recommend staff were wonderful agreed to late check out for us as our train wasn't till late afternoon.Superp breakfast value for money definitely.☺️"

"Excellent hotel and good that they offered three proper single beds in one room - for three friends on a weekend break. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. WiFi was easy to connect. The only things missing were biscuits in the room and a better top up of tea/milk. A small issue that didn’t affect our stay, as it was a great hotel. Location was good - and nice and quiet."

"All though the cleanliness and facilities were fine, the staff (I dealt with) were terribly unhelpful. After paying and booking for a room which slept 3 I simply only got a double bed, after explaining this I was promised a single bed would be moved in which never arrived. Therefore one of my roommates had to book a different hotel costing a fortune last minute, terrible customer service "

"The only criticism I have is at the official address is in the rear. So when we first arrived, our Apple Maps app sent us up the street down a side alley to the rear door. Other than that service was good, the pub connected to the lobby was excellent. Just a great experience."

"Fantastic hotel. Great location, near to restaurants & pubs. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a must. Sadly never tried the spa or pools. "

"12 min walk from haymarket train station and a 15 mins walk to princes street. The weather was good so did it mind the walk but it would be miserable if typical Edinburgh weather. Hotel room small but clean and shower was powerful. "
