"Nice easy location for Lindisfarne. Good menu, but seems to be the same one at each of this group of hotels. Decent sized room, with tea and biscuits supplied. Bed and pillows a little too firm for my liking, but some people may prefer them this way."

"We LOVED this little inn. Our room was adorable, clean and nice, and had little touches like shortbread cookies. The food is excellent--I recommend the fish for breakfast. We would love to come stay again."

"Nice room (cottage rooms) good size, lounge with two bedrooms and en-suite, TV was a little confusing and the water pressure could have been better but overall very nice spot, good driving range / amenities on site and very close to Floors Castle The whiskey bar is well worth a visit, very knowledgeable staff!"

"I stayed in a seaview room and it did not disappoint If I had complaints, they were minor- I don't prefer small beds, but I knew I booked one & it was cozy & comfy too I am not a small person & the space between the commode & the bathtub was minimal to non existent, anyone larger wouldn't have been able to use the facilities Part of the lack of space was caused by a heated towel rack, which quite honestly, was a very nice touch The tub was fairly wide & deep with jets, but that was the rub, the jets did not work & reaction from staff seemed to suggest the jets hadn't worked in a long time I didn't figure out the shower, but was happy to soak instead, perhaps instructions posted might help Otherwise it was a beautiful hotel with a perfect location & lovely views The staff was very friendly & helpful There was not a lift (elevator), but the gentleman carried my bags up to my room for me so that wasn't an issue either I didn't opt to eat at the bayswell due to time constraints but the food looked & smelled lovely I didn't have a fridge in my room, but the reception staff offered to keep my smoothie in the kitchen overnight so it wouldn't go bad I realized later, I could have also kept it on the window ledge too Was a very nice visit"

"Easy to find thanks to a text on the day directing us to the parking area. Met by Allison at the door and made very welcome. The room, Lindesfarne, (No4) was superbly furnished and the view was all we expected. Cant fault it. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order and was of a high quality. Overall i'd have no hesitation in recommending The Roxburgh. "

"Older hotel and rooms are two flights up. Besides that, everything else was good. Rooms are smaller and old, but comfortable and clean. Good restaurant down stairs and good pay to order breakfast."
