"I had a wonderful stay at Antico Panda. The staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. The building is old, but I already knew that when I booked it online, and it was clean and comfortable. The food was fresh and enjoyable as well. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and major tourist attractions, so it can get a little noisy late at night and during the day, but nothing too alarming. Also, be prepared to hear the church bells ringing every hour, which personally did not bother me at all. "

It was literally steps away from St Mark's Square and centrally located to many of the tourist sites we wanted to visit and our room had a wonderful view overlooking the canal. "Great modern and very clean rooms in NH Venezia Santa Lucia. Excellent location right next to the train station, and having an elevator was a huge plus with luggage. I booked this hotel last minute after arriving in Venice a day earlier than planned, and honestly wish I had stayed longer. The breakfast buffet was definitely worth paying for, the 5th floor views were beautiful, and I really appreciated the free luggage storage after checkout. Staff were kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the stay. The room also had AC, although I personally didn’t need to use it during my stay. The only small improvement I’d suggest would be slightly stronger water pressure in the showers, but overall everything was fantastic and the room extras were a lovely touch. "

"I booked a room at the Adua Hotel, however upon arrival after numerous phone calls, we were finally escorted to the neighboring building along with another couple who arrived at the same time. That building was not well maintained nor attached to the main hotel. The water from the sink in the room drained onto the floor!!!! (There was a piece of tape on the wall that said it was broken.) The room was hot but the attendant did not offer to turn on the AC. We opened the door to the courtyard and were bombarded by mosquitoes. There was no internet service. There was no soap at the sinks and I opened the hall cabinet to get toilet paper.We never saw the Adua Hotel but these furnishings should not be included with their 7.2 rating."
