"I had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel offers the perfect combination of elegance, comfort, and convenience, making my time in Chicago even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and some of the city’s most beautiful attractions. The atmosphere throughout the property is sophisticated yet inviting, and the accommodations provided a comfortable place to unwind after exploring the city. What truly makes a hotel experience memorable is the hospitality, and I genuinely appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail. As someone who values exceptional guest service, those little touches make all the difference. Overall, The Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown is a beautiful property that delivers a luxurious experience without sacrificing warmth or comfort. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago and would happily choose to stay here again. Five stars, well deserved!"

"Great Hotel, Amazing Views, but Some Nighttime Noise We had a wonderful stay at The Wade Hotel in Chicago! The location was excellent, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the views were absolutely beautiful, definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The only downside was a constant noise during the night. We stayed in room 1500, and although we couldn't identify the source, it sounded like it might have been coming from the elevators or possibly the wind. Unfortunately, it was noticeable enough to disturb the peace at night. Overall, we really enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it for its fantastic location, cleanliness, and stunning views. Hopefully, the nighttime noise can be addressed to make the experience even better!"

"Overall my stay was pretty good. The only two issues were my mini fridge wasn’t working and I lost my leftovers that sat in there for the two days I stayed. Secondly, I had a staff member tell me about a special tour and promotion, only to tell me somehow I was not eligible. Then he had me bring my son down to see if he could be eligible. He was only 18,not 21. So he was not. That was not very pleasant considering it was basically pulled back for some reason . I visit 3-4 times a year. I either stay at the Westin River north or the Royal Sonesta River North. The lost food was no biggie but being given a whole rundown about how the hotel was trying to build a new customer base and then being told I wasn’t eligible was crappy. I can’t lie. Everything else was pretty good. The happy hours were cool. Staff outside of that was generally ok."
