Surprisingly nice hotel with a really decent included breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, make-your-own waffles, lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cereal, hot oatmeal, breads, bagels and muffins with a toaster and more). Our king bed room was a nice size with a couch and desk, and the front desk was terrific, accommodating our early check-in and late check-out, in addition to holding our bags. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient with fabulous restaurants nearby and Navy Pier just a mile away.

Excellent location with a terrific breakfast room. Not only is there a wonderful array of items for breakfast, the room is beautiful with plenty of seating and huge windows from the second floor. It IS a bit noisy since there is a six bay Fire Station just down the street, but it didn't keep me awake. Beds are great, nice pillows, excellent AC and a quick maintenance dept that handled a "slow" toilet. Would recommend this Hampton.

Great location with easy access to much of Chicago. Our corner room was perfect for my wife and I and 2 grandkids. Nice pool area. Clean and spacious rooms. It didn't bother us but there is a fire station across the street. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall, the hotel was good and the location was convenient. However, there was a lot of noise from the nearby fire department, even with the double-glazed windows. The elevators were also an issue in the mornings—on our first morning, only one of three was working, and on other mornings, one was reserved for staff. I liked that the second-floor tea and coffee station was available all the time.
