Nice but shabby

Pros: location
Cons: cleanliness, update on furniture and TV
Location: Millineum Park, can walk to downtown or Michigan Ave .CVS right across the street
Excellent location walking distance to so much or quick cab ride. however hotel is showing it's age. furniture and bed frame were nicked and marred. linen however was in very good shape,clean and soft. toilet closet but there is no fan. caked dust on baseboards. TV old without clear picture. Checkin staff and doorman excellent

Hotel is dated.

Rooms and hallways dark. Dated decor. Only 1 mediocre restaurant in hotel. Location is close to Park but not an easy walk to Magnificent Mile. Staff were pleasant and Concierge very helpful. I would not recommend the hotel. There are other nicer and better located hotels on Michigan Avenue.

Outstanding stay with wonderful staff.

First thing, The hotel staff make this hotel. They were extremely accommodating, especially the front desk workers. We stayed in 2 rooms, a room on the 29th floor and a suite on the 6th and both were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Definitally one of the best hotels in Chicago for the price!

nice hotel in the downtown area

Pros: staff was amazing
Cons: new mattress in the rooms
Location: very well located to the important things to do nearby
I would like to comment about the staff in this hotel first because all of them were excellent, especially the staff at Columbus tap restaurant , the front desk staff was helpful and my room always was clean and organized ,but my beds were not as good as my other comments , the mattress look like was there since they build the hotel it has a big dent in the middle and it was in both beds , so was kind of difficult to sleep like that , I made a comment to my room maid but nothing happened the next day I was on vacation with family and I forgot to tell to the manager the next day . for this reason I am giving 4 stars , I think a hotel like this should do inspections in their rooms , and also believe that the last person noticed this problem with the mattress also and no solutions , this is something that not happened in one day , this mattress is like that for a long time , but I will recommend this hotel because is in a really good place and close to all the amenities in downtown area . thanks

Great hotel

Staff was very nice. we have never been to Chicago before so we needed some help and everyone was very helpful. Our negatives on our stay is that if you are arriving after dark and you have never been their before it is intimidating trying to find a parking structure instead of paying the $80 fee for Valet. If we stay again I would pull up to hotel and ask bellhop where to park instead of driving around for 30min. Also be aware that gps looses signal when you are in certain spots.+

The hotel is nice, near by a lot of restaurant.

The hotel had a good services and the house keeping is really good. The only bad thing is the bed frame is falling a part. They should change it. Overall, the stay was nice and good.
