Excellent location within walking distance of light rail (fast to Chicago city center), parks, shopping, and the industry museum. The kitchen was very functional and bathroom was is good order. Beds were made with plenty of pillows. Only negative was some of walls were scuffed up and the washing machine's in another area of the building. If you're taking a car, the street parking can be challenging. Otherwise, very good.

We stayed in this comfortable, quiet apartment for four weeks when my husband was undergoing radiation treatments for cancer at the University of Chicago Medical Center. It was just what we needed. The locationā€”a block from Lake Michigan with its endless miles of parks and green spacesā€”was spectacular, and we spent long hours walking our dogs and biking along the lake on the beautifully landscaped walking and biking trails. The apartment itself is well appointed, clean, and blessedly quiet and it is within easy walking distance of Whole Foods, Trader Joeā€™s, and other useful shops, gyms, and restaurants. Christine was a particularly charming host and she went out of her way to help us when, as Luddites, we needed assistance with the TV system. I highly recommend this relaxing place on Hyde Parkā€™s elegant east side surrounded by endless beautiful parks and lakefront green spaces.
